Another weigh-in surprise... :) Gotta keep on shedding kilos. Next couple of weeks I got the day shift, so meals will now be more precise. I have the occassional craving for a can of BBQ pringles and some pork steamed buns, but my new addictive friend, the cole slaw, is working wonders.
I have also decided that I will reduce my smoking from 1 pack a day by purchasing an e-cigarrette. Tons of ex-smoking friends have recommended it, and since I am on this new mind set of "mens sana in corpore sano", I might as well give it a try!
I also had a pretty moderate case of apnea. Woke up in the middle of the night and not resting well led to me catching zzz's at work like I had hypersomnia (I would fall asleep in front of you while having a conversation). Since I bought an air re-circulator for my bedroom, it improved a lot.
But now, as I am losing bits of weight, I found that this aspect has improved as well! I am sleeping six to seven hours straight (with the occassional bathroom visit cuz of some much water) and actually feel rested!
I am surely and steadily getting there. It will get harder as I approach my goal, but I am determined now. I can't succumb to cravings, or excessive meals (specially when I go out) and let this whole month go to waste. Fighting!

losing 11.6 lb a week

Surprised to have lost 2kg in 5 days with very little exercise! It is getting easier to resist cravings, but I'm afraid that a schedule of work from 12pm tom 8pm is messing up my meals! I am having a very little breakfast, no lunch and compensating for calories at dinner! It's only for a week, but I need to stay alert on that.
I'm happy though that I'm on a very good path, just by measuring how many calories I place into my mouth - also, by being aware of calories everywhere, I am learning about foods I never knew had so high caloric content!
Long way to go, but small steps are very good. Whee!

Followed new regime 100%, eating only up to 1500 calories daily (give or take, since some days it was a bit less due to work). I haven't exercised fully yet, and I need to start doing that! I will promise to walk one hour tomorrow!
I have not starved, although I have craved something salty and something sweet many times. Rice is what I really cannot live with... but I am learning to manage those portions.
I am starting to fill the cravings with Vivant (L-carnitin water with grapefruit flavoring) and fruit, mainly tangerine oranges, which are sweet and sour at the same time and have lots of juice.
I have deflated to the point where I do not feel bloated or feel that my stomach is tight. Family is noting the results, by seeing how I don't look like a balloon anymore, lol. I can pull my shorts up to my belly button now! I couldn't do that two weeks before!
Seeing results so fast should discourage me, since I won't see such vivid and quick results in the long run, but it only encourages me more. Have to keep going, fighting!

Not a lot effort, just changing everlasting habits.
- No sodas (except for carbonated water)
- No fried things
- More and more veggies
- Stay hydrated
Shed 1 kg easily in one week. One more year to reach target if I stay like this. However, I need to incorporate some exercise as well. Let's go!! ^^
