I've hit a "wall" with my weight loss this week. It's so discouraging to watch carefully every bite you eat, exercise, walk, stay on the diet exactly and not only NOT lose any weight, but actually gain 6 ounces! How is it possible to gain weight on under 500 calories a day???? I see that I have two choices: 1. quit. go back to eating whatever, whenever I want and watch the weight come back. (that doesn't really seem like a good choice) or
2. Stick with diet, exercise a little harder and wait for the weight loss wall to crumble. (and this doesn't seem like an easy choice)
The easy choice is not the good choice, and the good choice is just not easy. I think I'll sit here and eat my 140 calorie lunch of 3 oz chicken and lettuce and contemplate a little on the vagaries of life.

Totally discouraged and frustrated today. I have followed the diet meticulously and today I have gained weight. How is that possible on LESS than 500 calories per day? I feel like giving up.
