I'm kinda starting over again today because I fell off the wagon the past few days while nursing my injuries. I had to rely on my husband to bring me food since my left shoulder, elbow and knee are all injured from my syncopal episode a few days ago. It's not easy having to rely on him because he criticizes me for all the weight I've gained while staying with my son at the hospital during his two bone marrow transplants BUT he doesn't make it easy for me to make good choices. An example of this is just last night he baked a pineapple cake with pineapple & whipped cream frosting but the problem with that is He and I are the only two in the house who will eat it! All three of my kids are very good about not eating a lot of sweets (probably because I started telling them at a young age about good food choices because I was scared they would turn out fat like me but thankfully they listened and the only one of my children who needs to lose weight is my youngest son but he's on a lot of steroids since his bone marrow transplants and his type of dwarfism causes his abdomen to be large so that's not anything he can change) BUT I'm easily tempted and I just feel like he sabotages me. Glad I have some people on this website who will encourage me to stay "on the wagon"! NOW, let's get back to being good and making good choices for myself!
