I've found that I CAN'T follow this 17 Day Diet to the letter. I am definitely eating less and better but not the way I'm supposed to. I should start Cycle 3 on Sunday. I looked at the ACHIEVE cycle and that's more of what I've been doing since going into LAWL maintenance since April 2008! I just skimmed over it but watching the calories during the week and more lax over the weekend. Yep...that was my life and is my life. I like the alternating in Cycle 2...I think I can do that. We'll see how it goes. My daughter in law is struggling so I don't feel too bad. Hard to believe I've only lost 6.2 lbs. but I'm sure glad I did lose. I really want to get to 140, maybe 139 just to say I did it again. I think I would be happy. I know I can't maintain 135...no way unless I follow Cycle 2 all the time..but don't know if it would work that way. Okay...just rambling here..but it's my journal and I can put in there what I want! LOL!!

For the record, I am feeling better! Not all bogged down with starches and don't miss them too much. I'm glad I tried this and for someone who doesn't have very good eating habits...this would be a great jump start to their weight loss journey.
