Major fail in the food department today. I managed to eat a cup of homemade meat sauce, and have had a cup of coffe and earl grey with cream. Not a super ideal day, but I suppose we all have our crapper days. We'll see if I'm able to salvage myself at dinner.

Ok.. So today was a bit more successful. I just need to get the beastly sugar cravings under control. They seem to hit in the afternoon when I'm a bit hungry.. I need to find some additional protein snacks I can have handy to avoid giving into the cravings.
I am holding steady at my weight-loss, which is good. Just hoping
to get it all under control soon.

My carbs are averaging 40% or more of my macronutrient intake every day. This, apparently, is what is holding my weightloss back. Basically, I need to give up fruit for a while. I suppose it's doable.
I will miss my apples and grapes terribly, tho. I suppose I won't miss them as much as I will enjoy being able to fit into my old wardrobe, though.. haha
I do need to figure out how to increase my protein. Hm.....

So, I'm back down to 188. Just gotta keep moving in that "downward" direction. I'm hopeful and will do my best to stay within the boundaries of my eating plan. =D wish me luck.

I am struggling to "get good" at the paleo diet. I've effectively cut grains, dairy, and legumes. My nemesis- sugar and fruit. I don't crave the grains, dairy, or legumes. But I have become distinctly aware of how common those items are in food and how hard they are to avoid when eating out. I think once I get my sugar demon killed, and I can balance my fruits, veggies, and meats I'll be golden. Just a matter of finding the proper ratio.
