Today is my first time using this app. My first weight loss journey started when I stepped on a scale at the gym, and saw that I had left the 2's and hit 306! I was at the gym because walking around school I found myself out of breath halfway to the next class and my knees were complaining, and I had no problems the previous semester. I was still shocked to see a 3 as the first digit of my weight.

I studied nutrition and used a calorie tracking app to change my eating habits and got back down to 280 - 270 my body's "normal" weight. a few years later after spending 6 months eating and working a more physically challenging job I got down to 255. This was my lowest weight as an adult. But I left that job and returned to my old habits and got back to my "normal" 280. I then enjoyed the summer way to much, dessert everyday etc. and got back to 302. this time the weight took it's toll on my back and most of September I spent laying down in pain from a herniated disk. that month of pain motivated me to get back to healthy eating habits, and since then I have once again returned to 280. however I am now more motivated then ever, to keep the weight loss going. I may be about to move to a new state for a career job not just a job to pay the bills. it would be a whole restart of my life and the perfect opportunity to start with healthy habits. So with that in mind, I found this app and will begin to journal my progress to a healthier, happier life.
