Lunch was hit and miss. I had Progresso vegetarian southwest zesty soup in my pantry so I heated it up. Very blah. Ate only about 2/3rds of the can. Paired it with 1/2 very small avocado and 9 corn chips. I feel good about staying on my diet today.

Well, I have to begin somewhere. I chose the healthy breakfast of cheerios and skim milk rather than the toast with butter that my hubby had. Sure wanted that toast with butter! I have to admit I stole 2 bites of his crisp, buttery toast (with peanut butter on top!). But just taking two bites was enough to satisfy my desire to eat something fatty. AND I used splenda in my tea rather than sugar. It's a beginning.
