It would take too long to tell you everything about me..... The shortest version is.... I have some physical issues. I was in a car accident, passenger seat, and we were "T-Boned" on my side. My left shoulder was crushed and my left knee was messed up. There was other stuff but those are the big 2. I've had 5 surgeries on my shoulder and one on my knee. It has made going to the gym a bit difficult. I can't do a lot of the things I used to love to do, water ski, jet ski, running or even swimming. I'm trying to push through the pain and reclaim my life and my weight. I've tried a bunch of diets that worked for a minute and then didn't any more. So, right now I'm doing Hcg. This is my second course and it seems to be working. No, it's not the drops. Most of the Hcg drops sold are not even Hcg they're just bitter water. I have one more course after this one IF I need it. If I do, it won't start until Thanksgiving day. Keeping track of everything I eat helps too. Having support and encouragement always helps.

Hungry
A WW leader told me "No body ever got fat eating vegetables.", and that has stayed with me ever sense. If you're hungry you'll be happy with the veggies. If you're craving sugars, and or, carbs, you will want only those types of foods. So, if you're hungry eat the veggies. If you're craving, however, you'll NEED to get off the sugar and carbs all together. Some carbs make you want to keep eating more and more, like french fries. And, if you are eating "bad carbs" you're just gonna want MORE and MORE. You may need to "detox", 14 consecutive days without sugars or bad carbs. I did it but I had to start the 14 days over 2 or 3 times. I caved and ate french fries or bread. I was hard, I'm not gonna lie. But that was 53 pounds ago. Both south beach and Adkins diets have the 14 day detox phase. They are a bit different but very similar. You can probably check out either, or both, of the books from your local library to guide you.

Lost cause
Like most of us on this site, I also wanted to wake up "SKINNY". I have given up on myself a few times. BUT, thank God, it didn't last. I went from eating whatever and whenever to a more healthy routine. Knowing I couldn't give up everything all at once and that no one should even try, I am now sugar free. I also quit all soda and carbonated drinks. Actually the list of everything I have stopped eating is more than I thought I could ever give up. I did it one "THING" at a time. After 30 days + with no soda I thought sugar would be a good thing to LIVE without. I put down the carbonated drinks and never looked back. Sugar was a different story however. I have realized that sugar gets added to SO MANY things. It was so much more difficult to give up just because it gets added to everything to make things taste better. Label reading was a chore. Now it's just what I do. I have made a grocery list I can print out now. That has made shopping so much easier. I only need to read the labels of anything NEW I want to try. I'm still working on myself, and I always will be. One day at a time. If I mess up today I will refocus TODAY, not tomorrow.
