TACO THURSDAY!!!! There was an end of the semester/celebrate summer/watch the word cup in the big conference room/just for the hell of it because the department will pay for it Mexican food fiesta at my job today. Guacamole, beans, tortillas, nacho chips, pork, steak, the works. I'm happy to say that I did not indulge the way that I would have in the past. I had a sensible portion and that was that. There was so much food left over that my coworker bagged me up some and gave it too me to take home. So, right now there's a bag of Mexican goodies burning a hole in my refrigerator. But, I'm not going to eat it. I'll save it for my boyfriend, eat a salad, watch the SADE video marathon on VH1 and go to bed, so I can get up early and go to gym in the morning.

I've been watching my caloric intake. I don't have the patience to record everything I eat and drink. That's too much. :) I usually graze while I'm at work. I have almonds and fruit at my desk. I keep cans of tuna fish in my desk and a bag salad in the fridge. That way I can just dump the tuna fish on the salad and I have an instant lunch.
I drink coffee everyday. That I can't change. I just can't. I'ts not going to happen. I will do an extra set of crunches to make up for it, but I cannot give up my large Dunkin Donuts coffee light and sweet. That is where I draw the diet line.
I went to the gym yesterday morning and it felt really good. My quads and hamstrings are burning, but that's a good thing. There's a gym in my apt complex, so there's really no excuse. I'm looking into buying some groupons and taking some inexpensive bootcamp or dance classes. There's tons of great offers near my job. I am a dancing fool. Always the first one on the dance floor. So, that's what I'll be doing all summer long. Dancing at free music festivals. I should burn through plenty of fat by dancing in the summer heat.

Just started working out and watching my diet again starting today. I'm hoping to lose 15-20lbs by September. I know that's a lot, but I want to push myself as much as possible. I may not hit my goal, but I'll try to get as close as possible.
