I don't normally 'weigh in' this soon, but it was a good loss, and coupled with the fact that I went out Saturday (beers and bad food), and then went to the pub last night (many beers !!) and the weight still went down. I honestly expected to be 1kg heavier !!
It's obviously from all the good work over the last few weeks (mostly :) )
Thought I'd 'carve it in stone' here before it inexplicably goes up tomorrow ;)

losing 3.6 lb a week

Small rise, but it's actually gone up about 1.5kg at one stage, and now back down again. I've come to the conclusion that I should be around the 72kg mark (I will adjust the target # at some stage). I think this is (fairly) easily achievable, and realistic. I am finding that as I get down in the numbers (which is good) it's much harder to lose the weight. What was flying off when I was 110kg, is taking forever to go at this weight. I understand and know why, it's just sometimes a little depressing when you struggle all week, only to lose 200g, and then put on 1kg with a schnitty and beers one night.
I've also started buying some clothes. I've put it off for a long time as I kept changing sizes. I was once wearing 2xl shirts (and was looking very seriously ar 3xl), and now I have a combinations of Small/Medium shirts (different brands seem to fit differently). I;m not a fan of clothes shopping, but it's quite a good feeling being able to buy something off the shelf and be reasonably confident it will fit.
I read with interest other peoples updates on here. especially Jomo and his cottage cheese diet (probably not what he calls it, but every meal seems to contain it :) I'm not sure I was as committed as some of you guys, but keep going, it will come. It's really not a race, and there are some benefits to going more slowly.
I'm planning a fairly quiet weekend (except for State of Origin on Sunday) so I am fully expecting to see a 76kg number on the scale next week. It's been threatening for a few weeks now, but birthdays, parties, Tuesdays, etc.. just seemto get in h the way :)
I had planned to be 75kg by June 30th. That wont happen. The revised goal is 76.x by June 32nd (So I end on the Friday, but still in June ;) ). After that I will work towards the 72kg. It;s only 4-5 kg, somewhere by xmas or so should be ok. Christ, I list 8kg in 1 month at one stage, it can be done, but as I said earlier, it does get harder as you weigh less.
Cheers.

losing 0.1 lb a week

Unfortunately I am going away with some mates drinking for the next 2-3 days, so next weeks weigh in might not be in the right direction.
Also, despite fairly strict eating I dropped to 77.3 on Wednesday, then put some on, then lost .2 to be 78.0 today. I realise it jumps around, but I like to see it everyday, so I can be extra strict if it's not doing what I want ;)
Cheers.
