I have been doing so well on this diet eating properly and beginning to feel really good about how I feel. Unfortunately, I went out to eat last evening and had corned beef and cabbage and made the big mistake of caving in to a piece of banana cream pie! I beat myself up afterwards but know that I have a new day to start the right choices again. However, I know that I need to stay focused as one slip becomes two and then I sabatage myself. So a new day, a new beginning and a new me!!!!!

I have decided to committ myself to a life change and that will include losing weight that is standing in the way of good health and activities that I want to do. I have read and researched the "17 Day Diet" and it looks as though it is a diet that will not make me feel deprived like some I have done in the past. I need to have fresh fruit which this diet allows. The diet changes every 17 days so that there will be a variety of foods so I should not get bored and hopefully I can committ to a beginning of 17 days.
I know that I will need much more than a change in diet. I will need much support as I begin my journey and I am counting on this site to find others who are in the same situation. I am open to any and all suggestions.
I also hope to incorporate exercise and will begin with walking as I know I will need to start slowly before adding machines, etc.
Please wish me well as I strive to change to a heathier person and hopefully be off all meds.

I am determined to follow a healthy eating regiment and so far am doing fairly well with a few slip ups. Still have not exercised and must begin as I know I will feel so much better. Praying for the strength and will power to continue.
