Have been "OFF" since November, No excuse. SAD kicked in really badly this season, and I really HATE being here in this abysmal prison aka a Rehab Facility. The food is AWFUL. Not fit to feed to pigs let alone human beings. It is very difficult to follow a healthy life style when the food is of such low quality, nevertheless I am determined to prevail, and even if I have to subsist on yogurt and bananas and oranges I'm going to diary my food and do the very best I can. I cannot walk and the only way I ever will again is to lose this damn barrel of lard hanging around my hips. It has been there almost all my life, I'm sixty 67, it is about time and then some. I gotta GET SERIOUS!!! And I gotta get outta this place before it kills me, because it will if I don't leave soon.....

I feel good in that I figured out how to enter food into the food diary. Actually it is quite nifty. I'm a very large person (VLP) so in order to lose weight have to eat more calories than a skinnier person to actually get the fat burning to kick in, but the right foods. Not all the candy and crap I've been stuffing all my life. Oh, how I love good cheese, good chocolate, salumi, good bread and lots of butter, you get the idea. But being in the Rehab I have few food choices, so this is the ideal time to get on the weight losing wagon. Since last year I have gone from 370 to 322, sometimes 280, but then back up again. Like a bouncy ball. I discovered Nuts.com. Worse discovery of my life. and they have overnight delivery to boot. Their dried fruits are to die for. Gotta stay from. Good idea for a Mini Challenge.

Do not feel like saying much tonight, Just want to get started entering my food for today into the journal. Since last year I dropped from 370 to 322, but now I'm stuck and I'm bouncing around from 290 back up to 320 and down again, so I figure it is time to get serious, and I can't afford Weight Watchers, and then I found this, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm off to start logging my food now. Wish me luck.
