I have started to feel very hungry but I have eaten all of my calories for today.

All of my testing today has shown minimal Ketones, but some time after I noticed I was suddenly very hungry I started showing a moderate amount of Ketones. I guess that is why I am so hungry, even after eating all of my day's calories.

If it gets to the point that I am going to have a hard time resisting I will grab some sunflower seeds. It takes me a long time to eat through 100 calories of those, and it will keep me busy.

I have explained my diet to the GF and she is not a huge fan. She is actually vegan, and she loves her carbs. Will see if we survive the date tomorrow as she is already complaining that we can't go to the Tex Mex place she wants because they don't have anything Keto friendly.

I'll keep at it. I made that mistake before and I fell off the wagon so hard I struggled to get back on.

I would call today a success.

I would like to keep my macros around 5/25/70, but I am incorporating new foods that I am not accustomed to eating and that is throwing my macros off slightly.

Has anyone out there been successful with maintain Ketosis with less than 70% of calories coming from fat? I wonder if I can manage with 5/30/65. It would allow more protein options, and it would allow me to add a little more protein to my diet. I would like to preserve as much muscle mass as possible.

I am aiming for a minimum of 1500 calories and a maximum of 2000 calories.

I watched Keto Connect on YouTube for a bit and found some interesting foods that were being eaten that I had not eaten before. Some variety is nice. Will watch more videos. If anyone has any other sources, I try googling but most of what I find are these "extravagant" recipes that take a lot of work and don't look all that appealing.
