I ran ---- RAN--- on the treadmill today! Granted it was only for 2 minutes at 6 mph, but I haven't ran in 16 or 17 years when I blew my knee out playing softball. I feel so .... ummm....accomplished!

Something interesting happened this weekend. Was feeling some stress and headed to the kitchen and reached into the pantry to grab a granola bar. I stopped just as I got my hand in the box. Pulled my hand out and actually thought about what I was doing and why. Questioned if I was really hungry or not. I've never done that before, actually stopped and thought about it. I've always been pretty mindless about it. I know that sounds weird. Good news, I decided I wasn't hungry and I left it in the box.

Whoo hoo! Did 4 miles on the treadmill @ 4.1 mph! Just gotta get my courage up to go a little faster and try running on it! Also did another 3 @ 3.5 mph for a total of 7 miles this morning.

Writing in a journal, tough assignment for this challenge. Haven't weighed yet, hormones are raging due to....ok you know due to what, and I don't want to get on the scale until things calm down a bit. And to be honest, I hate the scale. If the numbers are down, I'm happy, if they're up I'm miserable. Don't understand why a number influences me so much, but it does.
