I'm a brown, native american, 16 year old girl that was born and raised in NYC. I still live there :)
I never struggled with weight until 6th grade and I believe I struggled because of bullying. I changed schools a lot from first grade to fifth.
People call me complicated and difficult because I choose not to mold myself into their ethereal vision of a perfect person and I do not usually agree with them. Those people need to use their time wisely and stop judging me. I don't refer to myself as african american because that implies that I am a citizen of africa, which I never was. I'm pretty sure some of my ancestors were citizens of africa and you can refer to them as that, but not me. I am purely American and I am not black, I'm brown. I guess you can say I take things too literally but it's true. Brown is a color close to black doesn't mean you call me it. purple is close to blue and if your skin was purple, why would I call you blue? I don't like to be called anything that is not apart of me.
But I do like foreign languages, theatre, painting, poetry, music, nature and my passion is animals. You'll see me in magazines and on television one day as one of the world's Top Veterinarians. I try to avoid a lot of people because I've met a lot of harsh ones, doesn't mean every human I encounter is. I hope to meet awesome, friendly ones on this site so we can exchange help and observe each other's growth.
