Day 6:
I've been sticking to the diet reasonably well today. Don't think I've gone out of bounds yet. Trying to convince myself to do 20 minutes on the gazelle and failing (it's 9:15pm). We did go for a walk today...maybe I'll just call it a day and work out in the a.m.

Day 5:
I've stuck to the diet plan today...nothing on the "no-no" list. I think I need to watch my portion control though. We had frozen yogurt for dessert and I loaded my dish up... :( It was so good though--and at least it's not ice cream :P
I'm taking another day off from exercise (I know, I know...). I'm going to workout tomorrow evening and on Sunday. That will give me my 5 days out of 7 that I'm reaching for. My muscles just need a break today.
All in all I think I'm doing really well. It's hard because I want there to be instant results--although I know that won't happen. I guess it's just human nature to want to see results from your hard efforts right away--how else will you know it's working? I have noticed I've been sleeping a little better since the exercise and healthier eating has been added into my day--so it does have it's benefits already. With any luck, this time next week there will be a dip in the scale and I'll have my proof!

Day 4:
I've stuck to the plan so far this week. Noelle and I went for lunch unexpectedly today, but instead of caving and buying a big meal full of empty calories like I normally would, I got a small order of sweet potato fries and some water. I'm so proud of myself. Not only did I make a healthy choice, but I saved money too hehe.
I'm taking today off from exercise. I went too hard too fast this week and need to give the muscles in my legs a short rest. I'll be back on the gazelle tomorrow evening for my 20 minute routine. I've been slowly adding in extra exercise. I don't take the elevator at work anymore, and I check the mail more often just to get a few extra steps in. Every little bit counts I suppose.

Day 3:
I had the worst day at work today--I was so stressed and upset, and all I could think about was getting a chocolate bar. Wouldn't that make me feel better? I don't know how I did it, but I fought off the urge to run to the vending machine. I haven't cheated diet-wise yet. I'm so proud. Usually I cave by now. I'm making a concious effort this time. I'm tired of being overweight, and I won't allow myself to do it anymore. I start my first FS challenge tomorrow. I'm really excited. I just hope I can meet the exercise requirements--I'm so lazy.
This diet has been great for my appartment we clean so much now because it distracts us from food. HAHA

Day 2:
Aside for the muffins I just
had
to make to go with dessert--I haven't eaten anything on my "big no-no" list. I'm so proud of myself :) As hard as it is for me to drink water (I hate it...so boring), all I drank today was water. I'm rockin' this. So far...
