I'm 61 yrs old and post menopausal for 20 years. Prior to my early menopause I had always dieted off and on to try to maintain my desired weight but after menopause the diets that had helped me before no longer worked and my weight kept going up until I reached 218 lbs. Six years ago I finally was able to reach my goal weight of 135 lbs. using Medifast meal replacements and lost most of the weight in about 6 months. I also went to Curves 2-3 times / week and reached a healthy fat % even though I lost the weight quickly. Unfortunately, after trying unsuccessfully for 4 yrs. to keep it off I finally gave up 2 yrs ago and am now right back where I started, 218 lbs. This time I am using the HGC Protocol and loving it so far. Also working to resolve my emotional eating issues so I can end the endless cycle of gaining and loosing weight.
