This weekend went by without a hitch, although I have to admit, my eating habit weren't up to scratch! I made good choices but they weren't the best! It's pretty hard to do when you are trying to clear out your fridge for your monthly shop - but I'm pleased that I stayed within my calories and managed to have a few left over to have a handful or two of popcorn on Saturday night while watching a movie at home! (Watching movies at home is pretty non existant - it's either sport, DIY or.... more sport - haha!!)

On Saturday my stepson finally decided what theme he'd like his bedroom to be - his initial decision was WWE Wrestling (and I wasn't keen on this idea because this is what he has at home and I'd feel as though I'd have to compete with his mother and try and out do what she'd done - yeah, and I would too!), then he decided on Football (soccer) and once again I wasn't happy with that as I wasn't having a mish mash of different players hanging off my walls... but finally we came up with the most awesome of themes... Super cars! So off we went out shopping and we got all the bits and bobs for his room - we walked for hours and hours! We found everything we needed, came home and started putting it all together! It turned out wonderfully and I couldn't be happier about how it turned out!

Sunday was spent at a little place called Tropical Wings - it has a beautiful butterfly house - we had a fantastic time!

Hmmmm yes, so this morning hasn't started well... infact it started rather badly! I was running late for work so I couldn't eat my breakfast that I'd set out last night (will all intents and purposes of eating when I woke up!). By the time I made it from my front door to the overground train station a quick drive away (normally walk but because I was late today I drove!) I was starving! But thought I'd be ok until I got to work but I caved hugely when I stood on the platform at London Liverpool Street waiting for my underground train to arrive! There is a kiosk on the platform which sells the most moreish cheese and bacon croissants and I'm afraid to say I totally couldn't resist! Hunger got the better of me! :( Why on earth do they put such tempting and really unhealthy kiosks in such convenient places?

I'm not going to look at my blip as something negative, nor am I going to let it spoil my meals for the rest of the day... Ok, yes so I messed up - ONCE - but to make up for that I'm stair walking today... yes, I've been doing this already for a week and I made it up 4 flights in one go yesterday (but very out of breath!), today I'll push for 5 flights! (God only knows if I'll be alive when I reach the 5th floor but God help me I'll die trying if need be!)

Rain, rain, go away, come back another day!

I woke up this morning to torrential rainfall and just knew the start to my morning would be as grim as the dark black rain clouds which shrouded the sky! I wasn't far wrong!

I searched every where for an umbrella but alas, none were to be found (upsetting really because I've had my favourite umbrella for 5 years and now it's missing!). I ran to my car and was soaked to the bone in seconds! Got to the train station parking lot where I parked as close as I could to the station but that wouldn't have helped due to the very large and very deep puddle I had unknowingly parked right in the middle of - calf deep water flooded my trainers and socks! I'd had enough and just got back in the car and drove back home to change.

At least the 1kg I've lost since my last weigh in has put me in sunnier spirits this morning!

EDIT: Hmmmm think something could be wrong with my scale? I weighed in 1kg less this morning and this afternoon have started my TOM - perhaps I've lost more than I think I have.... What a lovely thought - I'm holding onto it until my next weighin!! LOL! :)
