I recently invested in a Jawbone UP24 band. A pretty nifty device I must admit. The things I love most about it is the gentle reminders to keep active and how the mobile app for the band can help set reasonable goals based on previous metrics from the band. Like for example, a normal day for me involves about 3,000 steps, but since getting the band I've started increasing my steps now that the band makes me more aware of my activities.
I also recently started exercising with a Gold's Gym body cycle, using it mostly to work on my legs and thighs. I work with it at least 30mins a day, and I have a lot of fun with it. I usually end up soaked in sweat all over when I'm done because I always try to go as hard as I possibly can. And the soreness I get some days, I don't necessarily like it but welcome it because it means for me some progress is being made.
Meanwhile, I have chosen to record my exercises and meals on MyFitnessPal due to the fact that there's more variety of foods and exercises I can use to more accurately track. But I'm not leaving FatSecret... I love the community here especially when I can get on from a computer.
