I am mid 40's with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. I have had a desk/computer job for too many years. I had bad eating habits, hoping to change that permanently. I drink mostly every day, hoping to change that as well to just occassionaly and then only one or two. I smoke, not really in the mind set to change that even tho I should be.
I want to get my own Harley next year, so I have a few goals I want to achieve short and long term. I want to look good while riding the Harley!! I want to get on a regualr exercise routine. I love rock and roll and the mystical and supernatural. I love animals, almost more than people. Thought I would share just a little about me.

Hi!

Welcome!

I am pretty new myself. I have found this place to be a wonderful resource with very kind and friendly people.

I am still learning the navigation of the place so I can't really offer any tips.

Yes my gym has a rowing machine. I may give that a try. I will keep swimming for my cardio.

I do know I need to lose weight overall to get rid of the belly. So cardio and diet is number one - I just also want to add some core strengthening exercises to the routine.

Diet isn't great, needs some improvement, but am doing well enough on it. I just need to get in the gym. I have a some issues with severe headaches and a swollen knee, so I need to find the right workout for me.

YOUTUBE!!! I never thought anything like this would be on youtube. Didn't even cross my mind. I am a very visual person, so seeing someone do the excersises is very helpful to me. Articles can be good - but they don't "show" you how to do it correctly.

THANK YOU SO MUCH Stacie!!!! I found a couple videos on youtube that were VERY helpful. I will try some of these core training exercises tonight!

I am excited.
