Hi, Nik.
I was on a high at Curves on Sat. I weighed in and got all my
measurements taken to compare with my initial ones from Late July.
I had lot 12.5 in body fat and 12. 6 total inches. Their scale, however,
doesn't coincide with mine. According to their scale I weigh 173. After
exercise it was 172. I had on tennies there but not at home - maybe another lb and a half. So I am near 170. I worked out today at the
gym but didn't burn many calories- 375. I started today using their Smart Card which tells me how to work different parts of the body using
the machines. It was a good workout but I was disappointed.
My food choices have not been kosher. More later.

I went to the gym again this morning. What a great exercise and feeling of success.
I awakened this morning thinking of the 8 lbs in 4 weeks contest. The Lord quickened my spirit: why are you waiting to drink a glass of water between meals or to begin to eat portions not just pile the food
on? I have no reason to wait..
I am beginning today, Super Bowl weekend. I am grateful for this
challenge and for Anika inviting me to this forum.

I made it to the gym today. While Larry was out of town, I walked 7 of 10 days. Since his return, I have not walked. Both of us have come to
a firm decision. We must exercise. We must eat right.
This Super Bowl weekend, I will drink no sodas, prepare health conscious treats (fruit tray, veggie tray, healthy dips, one desert.)
I watched Biggest Loser last night. I must look like the woman who weighs 176 pounds. I have been deceiving myself.

I'll try this again. I fasted til noon today and then ate everything but the kitchen sink. My water intake has been minimal today. i will drink two glasses before bed. I drank tea and theraflu today but my
body feels dry. Moderating my liquid intake to 6-8 glasses a day will really help me. I'm working on bottle one right now.
