I have had a difficult few days. onset of plantar fascitis, has me on crutches and barely able to walk. As you can imagine my calorie burn is purely keeping my body alive, despite this, I have continued to lose weight.
Obviously no alcohol and that is the norm now, haven't touched any since I started this diet. Mornings are two to three mugs of coffee with hot milk. Lunch is a bowl of protein such as canned salmon or tuna, maybe an omelet. Two glasses of a Virgin Mary with light chips and salsa followed by dinner which is a protein and two vegetables, I will drink seltzer water during the evening and finish with a mug of hot chocolate made of milk. I try to stop drinking the water before 9pm otherwise sleep will be interrupted continuously.

I weigh myself every morning and the weight varies a lot, I can see why folks say don't do that but that isn't for me. I can lose 3 pounds one day and put it back the following day, however, week on week the weight loss is being maintained. After 18 days, I have lost 15 pounds (4.66%) and my BMI has dropped 2.4 points.

I am using an Excel spreadsheet to plot my progress with a prediction function that has me on track to lose 57 pounds by the end of the year.

Obviously this lifestyle will not fit a youngish active person but anyone in their later years with a sedentary mode of life might find this useful.

If anyone wants a copy of the spreadsheet, just ask.
