For the last 2 nights I have been awakened at 4am due to wind & chimes. Losing sleep really throws me off. I will weighin on Sunday and I'm not looking forward to it because it has been a crazy week for food. I need to get to the store for more vegies. Back to bed now...got a long day at work ahead of me.

I told myself in the beginning of October that I would have fried apples on Halloween instead of my usual carmel apple. I didn't miss the carmel! My butter sauteed apples were a delicious treat since I haven't had much fruit for 3 months. No sugar added, but I did make a cream cheese topping out of cinnamon and stevia. Here is the goal...no more apples/fruit until Christmas when I make a small persimmon pudding with vanilla custard. Keep on keepin on. (photo from miacucina.com)

Last night I was cold, so I broke down and had 2 bowls of black bean soup which came to WAY more carbs that I normally eat. Today, I better make sure to stay under my 20.
