I am 60 YO, reasonably active - walk, swim, bike, do yoga, weight training - at least one of these everyday. I weighed less than 120 my entire adult life except for pregnancies till I had a hysterectomy at age 48. I have steadily gained weight since then, especially since moving back to the mid west two years ago. I'm up to 155 now,I would say my ideal weight is about 125, so have that 30 lbs to take off, but instead, I have been gaining (5 pounds in the last year). I think I eat well but do eat a lot of butter and nuts. Have given up alcohol since Jan 2018 at least for now, see if that helps with the weight. I have never counted calories before.

How to add a brand that's not on the fatsecret list
I have just started using this app and love it! My favorite brand of granola in the Universe, Oat Cuisine Cranberry Gourmet granola is not on the food list, and I don't know how to add it or even calculate in the calories on my own. I can't find a comparable granola on the list. This granola not only tastes delicious, but is higher in protein and lower in sugar than other granolas: per 1/2 cup =
10 g fat (2% sat)
31 g carbs (12 g sugar)
7 g protein.

It is really superior granola. After using this app only 4 days I realized how much fat is in my diet! My calories are within desired levels, but my diet is around 40-50% fat. I can reduce fat drastically if I replace walnuts in my yogurt with this granola plus almonds (lower in fat, that you fatsecret!). Can anyone help? THANK YOU!
