losing 4.7 lb a week
04 March 2016
I find myself eating very little lately. Most of the time I don't even feel hungry, but I have to remind myself every 24 hours that I have to eat something. Today I completely forgot to eat and had a late breakfast, after a 27 hour fast.
It's so weird that I no longer crave or even think about food anymore. After 60 days, -41 pounds lost, and 21 total days of fasting combined, you'd think I'd be starvin like Marvin, but I'm not. I'm completely satiated and eating is now more of an option than a necessity.

Grilled catfish with melted butter, assorted steamed veggies with melted butter (not the frozen bag kind, those have added salt), ground beef with melted butter on top.
To most people it's lunch, to me it's breakfast and the only meal I'll eat for the day. LCHF diet + 24 hr intermittent fasting.

I continue to lose weight, even after I started eating normally again. When I say normally, I meant back on the LCHF diet, only this time, I added 24 hour Intermittent Fasting into the mix.
So far I've lost a total of 41 lbs since January 1st this year. At this rate, I might break last year's weight loss record and go below 190 lbs. This is great! :D

losing 14.0 lb a week

Got a friend that's 305 lbs with 40% bodyfat. He's been following my diet mantras and posts on Facebook for over 2 years, but didn't start believing me until I presented real results last year.
He's 305 lbs with 40% bodyfat, which means he has 122 lbs of blubber on it. He's temporarily lost weight before but doesn't know how to keep it off. He's a gym fanatic, weight trains like a beast, does some cardio, but is still 305 lbs.
He's 6ft tall, 29 years old, and is 305 lbs. That's an unacceptable weight in any culture (except for Sumo Wrestling and maybe Strongman competitions?). It's not even the weight that worries me, it's the amount of bodyfat that has me perturbed.
I mean we're not friends friends, I've seen him in public a few times in the past. When I say public, I meant the club. That's another thing I no longer do. I no longer drink alcohol, which has relieved me of lots of visceral fat btw, since alcohol turns into visceral fat in the liver after metabolism.
Anyways, he asked me for advice again. This year my goal was to be nicer to people, so I gave him a better version of the advice I gave him last year. I chopped it up into edible pieces and made it simple and straight to the point. His goal is to lose 70 lbs.
At first he asked me to help him and I asked him "Do you have a deadline? If you don't then I can't help you because you're not that serious about losing your weight." Well, we now have a deadline and he has 6 months to lose 70 lbs. I'm not there to monitor his diet, but I hope he has enough integrity to follow my advice verbatim.
