I'm gonna try to eat 5,000 calories today in keto food before my 5-day fast. That's gonna be tough though, because I just now started eating breakfast and it's 3:30pm.

If anyone's heard of Troy Casey aka "The Certified Health Nut," he's one of the few holistic gentleman that I follow on Facebook and Youtube. He has a great personality, very sociable, and has a large following group.
He and I agree on most things, but he does try to sell some products, which btw, is holistic in nature, so I don't mind anyone selling a product they believe in and actually use.
The difference between he and I is that, compared to him, I'm a drill sergeant. He's way nicer in the way he talks to people, but I tell how it is. He's a former male model and has been all over the world. I'm former military have have been in a few places in other parts of the world.
All in all, I don't have any products to sell and all my advice is free of charge. I don't care about profiting off of anyone's ignorance. I don't even sell t-shirts (which is a good idea btw). I got healthy using the information I obtained on my own, information outside of school for free, so it only makes sense that I pay it forward and relay that information to you for free.
Look, I understand the modern motto frequently parroted by people about nothing in life being free, which is partially true, but I also understand that life itself is a gift, which in turn is priceless.

Here's the interesting thing about the keto diet, if you don't keep your fat intake at least 70% of your calories, you're going to feel sluggish and tired. The reason being is because keto is all about using fat as energy as a temporary replacement for carbs.
If you eat lower than 70% in fat, you will lose some energy. I know if I eat below 70% fat, I wake up a little more tired today than I were yesterday, but still not as bad as when my meals were 70% carbs, which was [every single morning, grogginess]. The Keto diet isn't a high protein diet, it's a high fat diet.
All my educated keto vets already know, but this is for the outsiders and kiddies who think the keto diet is just another Atkins diet. Nutritional Ketosis all day every day.

You can't call yourself a food expert if you've never eaten literally everything that's considered edible.
I've eaten everything that you can think of. I've seen people gack at the thought of eating insects and arachnids when it's a normal dish in 3rd world countries. Saw that American fear factor show where the contestants volunteered to eat the African tailless whip scorpion (or tailless spider).
Among all the bugs, arachnids, and meat I've eating, nothing beats my favorite delicacy, which is blood, internal organs, and brains.

Coming soon to a FS near you...
April 1st marks the scheduled month where I will do another therapeutic self-healing and natural metabolic detoxing 120 hour fast.
Don't try this at home if you have single-digit bodyfat or have never done fasting in your life. I'm not just a Veteran at the keto-diet, I'm also a Veteran at fasting.
In my anecdotal opinion, fasting may be depriving your physical body of food, but it feeds the soul and brings out the spirituality in you. It takes willpower to go that long without eating, but I'm on a keto diet, so I don't have to worry about carb cravings anyways.
