Thank you to everyone on this site who has shown me support and kindness.
For reasons I won't go into right now, I have decided to step away from online weight loss sites for the foreseeable. I'll come back when I have good news to share.

Another gain! Shouldn't be surprised but it's hard to see. I need to regain control!

Yesterday hubby & I had a big set-to and it knocked me off my stride for the whole day. We'll be ok, but it definitely raised a few questions in my mind. When things are more "normal" I'll be looking to make improvements in a few areas of life.
I think I'm coming to terms with the loss of my nephew/niece, but my heart still breaks for what my brother and his partner are going through.
I think I'm ready to start looking after myself again from tomorrow. I'm seeing a way forward & a purpose for my being. Let's do this!

Thanks to everyone for your words and supports yesterday, it was really comforting. ❤️
Today I am just feeling numb. I had foolishly pinned so much hope on my role as an auntie and how motivating that was, so now I don't really know what my "why" is!
Any thoughts on how to re-evaluate my goals without concluding "what's the point?!" would be most welcome.

How I wish this weight gain was the worst news I had today! At 10am I heard that my brother's partner has lost their baby. I'm heartbroken. Life is so cruel sometimes. This is going to be difficult to process, but I'll try to keep in touch and ask for support as much as possible.
