Hello fellow chub-clubbers! I hope I will be successful in my journey to lose the pounds that keep creeping up on me since I have hit the big 4-0! Now that I am almost at 42, I figure the rate I am currently going I will weigh 200 pounds by 50. Since 50 is the new 30 (why did our metabolisms not get this message?????) I want to get things in check now and enjoy the next chapter of my life.
I have 4 kids, got divorced last year, and am overall really pretty well adjusted...I tend to look at the bright side of life, but of course can fall into a funk with the best of them. Incidentally, I do find my funks are directly related to the numbers on the scale or how hard it is to slide my jiggling thigh into the leg of my jeans.
So the fat secret hopefully will be the accountability I need to 'just say no' to the second glass of wine, or the 7th handful of peanut m & m's.
Every morning is a new start and this is hopefully going to be a great one!
