It's 8pm, do you know where your children are? Anyone remember that ad?
Seriously, I've been following the no water or food after 8pm rule. So far so good this week.
Thought I had leftover kcal, but just remembered something I didn't log. Oh well, I'm pretty confident that I didn't go over.
Today's treat was a glass of watermelon juice in the blender. Don't know if it's ok. I use alot of the white portion to reduce the amount of sugar, increase fiber for fulness. Squeeze of lime for acid & more vitamin C.
It's no egg day, but Just Bare Chicken Nugget.
Green beans. Keeping it simple. Today was project day. Anytime, dinner is ready under 30 min. is all good.
Made a 1st attempt @ vegan friendly starter. Creamed asparagus, corn, ginger, garlic soup. No sodium for me.
Pink salt for hubs. A little sweet, too much corn. Will adjust next batch. Ratio of Asparagus 1C to corn 1/4C.
All veggies were frozen in portions snack sized ziplock bags.

Tomorrow is mushroom day. ....Menu planning is the hardest.

Have to start laying off the refined carb. Honestly, it's so hard. NY bagels & Lox (scallions).. Next on the list of goodbye for now.

Today was the 1st acupuncture apptm. The session melt away some tension & stress. Body so relaxed, it feels like jelly. Power nap time, but schedule doesn't allow.

Hubs & I enjoyed this insurance covered benefit until the pandemic shut things down. Our drs offices have very strict safety protocols to keep themselves & their patients safe. We have to wait more than a month for some dr. appointments, b/c they are so backed up. The good dr. who care about safety slot appointments so the waiting room can allow for social distancing.
Some drs. allow Telehealth visits, which has been a saving grace & also gas saving 😏
It's a 2 coffee cup day.
1pm. Have 900 kcal left, 800mg sodium. No walk today as we're expecting some wet weather. LOL. Found that I can edit using the webpage rather than trying to figure things out on the phone.
645pm Hubs wanted a rare early early bird dinner. So the kitchen is cleaned up & closed before 9pm. Excellent.
Singapore rice noodle, w/lemon grass, beef sausage for him.
Rice noodle plain, blanched cabbage, air fried 2 oz. crispy salmon, radish kimchi, garlic, ginger, pb dressing. No sodium in anything except for the kimchi. All came in at 588 kcal. Yes!

Today's exercise, plantar stretches, tai chi warm up exercise. No tai chi. Not there yet.

Did some beginner yoga stretches, movement learned today from acupuncturist. He told me today he also studied Kung Fu as he trained for his enlightenment. This guy is the real deal, vegan to top it off.

He is in cahoots with my nutritionist. They think it would be good if I went vegan. The now me is struggling with no red meat, no alcohol. If I had unlimited funds, I would eat fresh seafood everyday, which includes seaweed. I'm game for anything from the ocean. If it doesn't swim fast enough it's dinner. haha...
I can handle the mercury.
I'm the kind of fish eater that can handle bluefish. Used to fish and feed myself and cat. Back when I was single & a cat lady.
