Been a hotelier for over 20 years so the "good life" has always been close by, with long working hours, rich food, great wine, nicotene, etc, etc!
In June 2012 I decided to change my life and lifestyle. I quit smoking, started walking, try and do an average of 150km a month thats about an hour a day. I find my self looking at food and think how much a bite of some desired carbo loaded, fat laced, protein garnished, hidden Kcal titbit will set me back!
This site has taught me 3 things;
1)know your food proper!!!!
2)control your blood sugar and you control your weight, eat small and more that 3 meals a day, VERY IMPORTANT, I MEAN IT!!!!
3)it takes time, a lot of time so there is ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE, allow it happen and it will!
