Recovering from a mild torn tendon in my right elbow and back pains. Tests showed normal old age things so I'm hitting the gym hard again getting back my strength slowly in my arm. I'm back to about 80 % where I was a few months ago.
Back pains are gone and I really never figured out the problem. Doctor ordered X-rays for stones but nothing showed up. I also had a catscan and the issue seen were expected. Pain simply went away...so I told the doctor I was magically cured.
Anwyways...moving forward. Watching what I eat more and not worrying too much.

Easter is over. Two family dinners yesterday.
I've gained back all of my weight that I did lose over the past year. I've been tracking and I've been keeping it low enough to allow me to lose weight but it's not working.
For a new starter I'm going to avoid sugar. Now some processed foods have sugar so that's next to impossible for starters but I don't need to eat candy, cakes, treats, sugar in coffee, sweet drinks (teas, soda, etc.). I will still eat unsweetened drinks like orange juice, or fruit juices since they are closer to natural.
I'll see how this goes.
In addition the weather is finally supposed to break from this long winter so walking outside is now possible. That seemed to help a whole lot to help lose weight.

Life is a struggle.
I heard a Rapper DJ closing out his show yesterday and I wasn't paying close attention but he said "every day above ground is a good day".
I'm not necessarily a rap music fan but I'll take inspiration when I hear it.
I'm afraid to weigh myself even though I've been making good choices. I've skipped going to the gym over and over again due to many different reason. Gym closed, injuries, work obligations, cold and flue viruses, family problems, yada yada yada. Now I feel its time to gather the troops and do a run-around on these distractions and pick up the pieces and get back into it. I don't have my energy quite yet due to a nasty virus but as soon as I get my feet back on the ground I'm going to be back at it. The weather is still cold and the snow is still piled high but the sidewalks are now clear enough to walk and that will be my starting point.
