Wow, this was 7 years ago. Much has changed. For one I'm not 46 but 51, lol. my weight loss had been a yoyo with each ride up it gets higher. There's been so many stressful things in my life, from work to home I know hous that it's caused something to shift in me. I also believe it is a great cause of my weight gain. I'm really learning to focus on me and tl play attention to what I eat and my physical activity. I don't eat a lot and I don't eat often enough. Although I was athletic in my younger days I am not very consistent with any sort of exercise. This is where I need to start focusing on me. I really don't have the story I need at home, which is part of my stress, soi I'm looking for outside supportive groups to help me stay accountable. I plan to be around for along time so I need to get to work.

You have it spot on, focus on you and the incremental changes you feel need to be made to get out of the diet cycle into a lifestyle change that gets and keeps you where you want to be. I'm 51 myself and know well that while it hard, it can be done. I'll be one of the many here that will be cheering for you.

I recommend this book called "Wake up to the Joy of You. by author Agapi Stassinopoulos. Wonderful book to help deal with stress and also how to take care of yourself.
