Hi Bettina! Just wanted to pop in on your journal and thank you for the encouraging words on MY journal yesterday! I try to do the same thing, and limit my intake of pork rinds and the higher fat meats. :) I have had very muscular legs, calves and thighs all my life, I think I developed the muscles as a teen riding my bike everywhere and running! I've done alot of crazy diets over the years, from cigarettes, and diet pills with WOW potato chips as my staple food, to more healthy type options. But even at my worst diet options, I never lost any of my muscle! I "looked" toned and healthy on the outside, you couldn't tell from looking at me how unhealthy I was eating. But now that I'm older, and realize that things I do have a direct relation to how long I might live......I'm trying to make my diet choices based on what's good for me! ;-)
