Over the last 2 days I have decreased my carb intake. I like Atkins mainly because my body does crappy with starch period...it just works for me. I do need to get the latest book. It is a updated version, supposedly more "healthy" than the older books. My guess is with the newer studies on fats they are adding more pressure towards lean fats and adding in healthy oils somewhere. I am anxious to see. What most people think of is "bacon and Eggs" and no carbs when they hear Atkin's, they are misinformed. There is a science behind low carb eating and I think my body is proof of the worst case senario when this is ignored. Anywhoo...getting those carbs down and watching calories more this time around. In the past I stayed on induction over the reccomended 2 weeks...I tend to fall off the wagon then. This time I'm jumping up to phase 2 after 2 weeks of 20 carbs...not at 20 carbs yet...easing into that this time as well too. Once into Induction I will have alot more energy...this I know for sure. Then I will focus more on getting into more strenuous workouts. Easing into everything this time!! I have to stick with it!! ;o)
218.5 lb Lost so far: 1.5 lb.    Still to go: 53.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
