Well, it's been one week and I am to the point of more energy and no cravings. I'm just not hungry, but I am eating and trying to drink lots of water. I noticed 2 days I didn't lose any weight, so the the next day I drank a lot of water. The following morning I was 1 lbs lighter! So water is important on this diet.
176.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 46.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Water is important every day, not just when dieting. Unfortunately we don't always make sure that our bodies get enough every day. You're doing great so far!

I noticed that in the winter, I am not thirsty and it is hard to drink 64oz of water. But with this diet, I am really thirsty. Does anybody else experience this?

Maybe during ketosis our bodies compensatory mechanism is thirst..to protect our kidneys. Just a silly idea with no supportive evidence :) Is it possible you are dehydrated? What color is your pee? White is right! Keep it clear so you know you wont be dehydrated!

I don't think I am dehydrated, my pee is white. But you might be on to something. Maybe our bodies need more water to process all the protein. All I know is that this diet is working great for me.

Try a Multivitamin! You should be on a daily one on Atkins anyway and your pee won't be white! Good luck! Your body needs the nutrients in a Multivitamin you're not getting from the diet! :)

Your pee will be a neon color when you take a vitamin LOL.
