I don't quite believe I'm seeing a further drop in weight this week as I've been over RDI by about 5 or 10% most days. Breakfast and lunch are fine but I'm not counting calories on my evening meal, just estimating. I'm not refusing the odd beer or ice cream, either, this is the summer, after all!

I haven't been doing my regular exercise, either. I can only assume that the constant housework and physical work involved in looking after guests, going to work and keeping the house clean and tidy is enough to burn the calories and then some!

Of course, this weigh-in is on my old scales again, but nevertheless, in real money I guess I'm between 55.5 and 56 kg which is fantastic.

Since school closed and the children are on holiday I haven't had to wear a white coat - that overall pretty much hid the fat when I was overweight and hid the weight loss too! I've had no end of comments and compliments in the past week.

Another two weeks of going to school but I'm beginning to feel more organised at home at last. I'm drawing up a list of chores for the chldren today, too. They've had a week of lying around doing nothing and it's time they pitched in - two little jobs per person per day will make my life much easier, there are three of them (the girls' cousin is here for the summer)so that's six things I won't have to do. In theory, at least - we spoke about this at breakfast and I didn't hear any protests but the reality may be different, of course.
120.2 lb Lost so far: 16.5 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
