I like weight watchers, it helps me keep track of what I eat and lets me know what I can eat and what I shouldn't eat, which I need really bad right now! I am living as a retired expat in Central America and have gained 25 pounds in 2 1/2 years. The food here in the grocery stores are different. There is no frozen food here, so I can't rely on eating a TV dinner and calculating how many points it is! Good news is there are orange and banana trees in my yard! Bad news is that the roads here are very uneven, and we live up in the mountains, so walking is difficult. But I am excited about joining this group because maybe I won't feel so alone! And I have to stay away from the rice and beans that are a staple here, and the wonderful bakeries!!
