Well the FIRST magazine diet did not work for me. I seemed to have eaten so little but gained just a little bit. It is back to cereal in morning, whole wheat sandwich for lunch and veggies with grilled chicken for supper for the next week. My burns are healing but slowly. I refuse to go inside a store so my daughter has been shopping for me.
185.4 lb Lost so far: 1.6 lb.    Still to go: 35.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.4 lb a week

Burns take a long time to heal so be patient. The magazine diets are often alluring with all of their promises of "quick and easy weight loss" but in real life, it's never quick and it's never easy! Chalk it up to more proof that you should stick with the tried and true. Hope you can get out and about soon.

I sure hope your burns are feeling better. It will take time. Guess I'm glad I didn't find that magazine after all. Hope you did better at finding the fresh spearmint leaves that I did. I have searched everywhere here and couldn't find anything. Have you tried that water? What cereal do you eat? For breakfast I usually eat 2 pieces of Nature's wheat lite bread (2 pieces is one point), with egg..kind of an egg sandwich. For lunch I usually have a cup of soup which is 2 or 3 pts. of course I snack on carrots all day. I sometimes have these little pretzel nuggets that have peanut butter in them, 10 of them are 3 pts. THEN supper is the problem cooking for my husband and sister. A friend who goes to WW gave me a good recipe for Taco soup which is good...do you have it? Or I do a lot of chicken. Well, hang in there....we are going to make it!!

Dawn, I have not hadluck with any of those FIRST diets. I tried several.
