BDunnigan - My Dr has put me on metforim because of my sugar levels. I'm pre-diabetic and she is concerned. I think its due to my drinking wine. I love it and can drink a bottle every night and have been known to. So my consumption has to play a big part in that. But I do believe my weight gain is due to drinking wine too. So stay tuned. I will let you know if my theory is correct...

It will really help inyour weightloss. I too love my wine and could knock off a bottle easily. Now on Atkins i find the desire to drink is gone so i am taking in significantly fewer calories (emptycalories)than i did before. Good lick!
