Welp, not going to do that ever again.
For the record, this past week turned into an "I just don't care anymore" week where I ate based on solely what my eyes wanted. And that included desserts like cheesecake, which I could probably work into my intake once in a while, except it was EVERY DAY. I ate no fruit and very few vegetables. I ate until I was stuffed and then I ate some more. When choosing snacks, I ate without thinking about calories or how it would affect me later on. Needless to say, my body didn't like me very much.
I was reminded of the painful feeling of being over stuffed to the point where you're almost ready to throw up, which isn't pleasant at all. No more of that "eye-eating"...
I also didn't exercise one bit. While I was enjoying the new free time I had, I didn't really do any thing productive, so I gained nothing from not-exercising. Moral: it's worth investing my time in exercise.
And so, as a result of my week of unrestrained "eye-eating" and sedentary life style, I gained 3.5 pounds in a week. I thought my body would resist the weight gain a little, but either my week was THAT bad, or this weight range isn't my set point yet. (Probably both)
So, unforunately I start my summer overweight at 137 pounds. My goal for the summer is 125. This week is 1200 cal trial week. If I can feel fine on 1200 calories a day, then I'll stay there for the summer until I hit my goal, then I'll ease up a bit.
This week, one pound. I want to be in the healthy weight catagory again!
