See there, you're already backing down to where you were. It takes adding 3500-3600 calories to actually gain a pound of fat. Otherwise, the quick increases or gains we see on the scales are caused usually by a combination of factors, but it's mostly water retention. Give no credence to water retention because if you keep to your program or get back on it, the water retention will go away. It may come and go, but in the long run it must go. This may sound silly, but talk to your body, and speak it out loud so the devil can hear it too. Tell your body it must come into alignment with what you want and know to be real. And tell it you command it in the name of Jesus, or according to the authority of Jesus' name, just as Paul commanded the spirit in Acts 16:18 to obey. Then have confidence your body will obey Jesus. I'm not just making this up, it does make a difference. It's not much different than fasting to get the body in alignment with the Spirit and soul--only you don't have to fast to expect your body to behave. You can tell it what you expect it to do, and with the authority of Jesus, it will do it.

Thanks for the info! I know I didn't come close to that many calories on Easter. I meant to post something about how much of a tizzy I made out of a few pounds. I have fluctuated and stalled before, but for some reason, this time I got extremely upset. Probably had some other issues mixed up in there, you know, 'the straw that broke the camels back' thing, but I had this overwhelming feeling that all the hard work was for nothing (which is so not true) and that I would spend the rest of my life finding things to wear that will cover up my "problem areas"...those thoughts sent me over the edge. Thanks again for the support!! Peace and love to you!
