Shortly after I decided to keep track of my weight and try to lose weight using fatsecret, my hubby and I moved back in with my dad and I didn't have the internet. I couldn't keep track on fatsecret, but my intended weight loss efforts also came to a halt. I thought I might lose weight while living at my dad's house since it's a bigger house and I'm always running up and down the stairs checking on my 2 year old daughter. However, I'm eating more now and my dad has a real sweet tooth so I'm always having dessert with him. My weight crept up a bit and now it seems to have gone down a couple of pounds, but now I want to get serious.
Three main reasons I want to get serious are: 1. My husband just became diabetic and I don't want to follow in those footsteps. 2. I know it can take a long time to lose weight and I want to be in way better shape by the time my daughter goes to school. I don't want her being teased for having a fat mom, and I don't want her following in my footsteps either. 3. I'm going to be 30 in a few months, so what better way to celebrate than by feeling better and being healthier?
Yesterday I got to thinking that I would like to make a challenge for myself called 20x30 (lose 20 pounds by the time I turn 30). Today I want to work on a plan for myself. I deserve it!
