I can't get into ketosis even though I'm under 20 carbs per day. I've started exercising though. I guess that is a good start.
277.5 lb Lost so far: 2.5 lb.    Still to go: 87.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

It can take up to 8 days to get into ketosis. Exercising will help. Make sure you test ketones before you exercise. First thing in the morning is best.

Some people just don't get the strips to change much. Keep an eye on the scale and if you haven't taken your measurements yet do that too. Sometimes the scale doesn't move but you still lose inches, especially when you exercise.

That's right. Sometimes I see inches shlop off way before the pounds. In fact I've dropped 17% body fat but only 5% of my weight is lost. There are more important numbers than just the scale that can clue you in that you are going in the right direction. Also my cholesterol and triglicerides went from high to normal ranges in 3 months. Evenutally the weight will come off too. ;)
