Another successful day in brownie avoidance, and rewarded with another pound gone. Someday soon I hope that I will not be tracking sweet-free days, but be able to focus on other things. I do not like this diet obsession thing I am going through. Until then, I record.

My only meal (lunch) today was a vegetarian dish, baked eggplant with a smear of ricotta, tomato slices, and big basil leaves snipped from the plant on my kitchen window sill, drizzled with olive oil.

I don't actually miss butter, which surprises me. The EVOO seems to do the trick, and I'm wondering why I felt it necessary to fry with butter at all before. Habit, I guess.

144.8 lb Lost so far: 5.2 lb.    Still to go: 39.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
