Ok, here goes...I am starting the South Beach diet tomorrow. I am 185lb, and I would like to be 130-140lb. My goal is to lose 10lb/month - is this realistic? I have a workout plan and my fridge is stocked with all the appropriate foods. I think I am ready for this, I am sick of the extra sack of weight around my middle and I want to be healthier. Anyway, wish me luck! Cheers
185.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hey, I'm on day 7 of the diet...well, it just passed midnight here, so technically i'm now on day 8, but my POINT is that you have all my luck! I know what you're in for because its still fresh in my mind! Phase 1 is a wonderful experience. By day 4 the carb cravings are gone, and by day 5, you lose your hunger as things begin to return to a more normal level in your body, and by day 6 you'll feel a bone here or there that you haven't felt in years!! I'm happy for you!!! Let's do this thing!

Heck yes you can do this! And the huge sack around my middle, was the first part of me to disappear! You go get 'em! You can do it.
