This is Day 3 of my new start. I don't have a lot to lose, but I've been on this journey so many times and it seems I end up here again. Always starting, never staying. My biggest hurdle is being prepared. If I have healthy food ready, I will eat it. If I don't and I'm hungry, I grab easy, and then begins my backward slide. My goal this time is to have healthy, easy grab food prepared, for when I've waiting too long to eat and my blood sugar is dropping.

I'm focusing on Paleo and the 40/30/30 way of eating. It's worked well for me in the past. I must stay disciplined and focused. Have a plan for eating out ahead of time. What to order no matter where I go so I'm not tempted by the smell of french fries and greasy burgers. If I mess up, don't use it as an excuse to slide all the way down, shake it off and keep climbing.

I want to be in the best shape of my life by the time I'm 46. I have 8 months to make it happen.

Eat to live; don't live to eat.
115.4 lb Lost so far: 14.6 lb.    Still to go: 5.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
