Well, i'm listening to Jimmy Buffett; "Breathe in, breathe out, Move on". For me sometimes, listening to JB, helps to re-center me, like a favorite sweater on the first cool crisp autumn day.

I was able to get back to a better diet yesterday, and I'm still amazed at how full I can feel when I am deliberate with the foods that I eat, yeah it's kind of a mystery. I lower my calories, and I can still feel full.
So my weigh-in was good, And, I had a good session with the counselor yesterday, I love the way she re-frames and summarizes what I have spoken, it really helps me to analyze my current situation, to compare and contrast with past relationships, and to help me rediscover my true self. While I am sad that I may be forced to live apart from my son, some feelings of excitement are arising within me. I am looking forward to being able to immerse myself in my interests, and share them with my son, without the filter that my wife injects. And I will continue to grow and share with my son, even if my butt head of a wife finally relaxes a bit, and agrees for us to live together (Whatever kind of relationship that will actually does not matter...) allowing us to coparent our son in the same apartment, and sharing time as a family experiencing adventures and the mundane-day-to-day life.
Jeez, am I weird for wanting this? Sometimes I do feel like I am an outlier, out of pace with the rest of society, but whatever. Keep my head down and just keep trudging on!
Out to get my exercise, mowing up leaves and other fun stuff, OUTDOORS, Woot!
217.0 lb Lost so far: 10.0 lb.    Still to go: 14.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Wow... you're a tough nut. Kudos for keeping a level head in all areas. Aren't therapists wonderful? Be well have a good weekend.

CR, thanks! Yup, I learned long ago the value of speaking WITH a therapist. Learned that from my first wife, way before we married, when we met in high school. Prior, I had no experience at all with therapists. In fact, my view of therapy had been rather negative, certainly in part, because of my mother's negative opinions, based on the ONE couples session she had with my father. So, my world expanded upon dating my future wife, ex-wife, life-love and bestie. Hmmm...
