While not on this site, today is the 1-year mark since I decided and seriously started changing my lifestyle and losing weight. On this night one year ago, I stood at 200 pounds in a gym with several dozen other obese people playing name games and blindfold challanges. I also met my teammates for the weight loss competition and we became the True Blue Lean Ladies.

If you told me that a year later I would weigh 144 pounds, I'd be shocked that I actually acheived a goal towards losing weight for once. I would wonder what it'd feel like being skinny, and wouldn't be able to imagine wearing anything other than size 18 jeans. A few things have changed since then, all for the better.

Unfortunately, since it's that time of the month, the water weight i've gained has offset the results of what I've been doing. So, for this week, I want to continue as I was and see where I really am next week when I drop all of the water weight.

Here's to a good year!

144.2 lb Lost so far: 25.8 lb.    Still to go: 24.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
