What a day yesterday! I felt like I was going through withdrawls. Going back to phase 1 was alot more challenging than when you first start the diet. I remember how much I dislike celery! Today is day 2 and hopefully will be better!

At the end of the day, towards evening, occupy yourself with something else besides food. I find that targeting my willpower in that time frame almost always pays off. It's really so simple, but we keep hearing the mantra that self control is so hard. A while ago someone came up with the words: "Nothing tastes as good as slim feels." In *one* day we can feel good, yet we somehow manage to convice ourselves of the difficulty of this and make the same mistake day after day. :-(

Personally, I don't care much for celery, either. HOWEVER... =D lol I have found that I do like things to put ON it! I love the lite laughing cow spreadable cheese for only 45 cals per serving, or costco has a great jalapeño & cheese spread that is too YUMMY... I've put tuna salad on it and used it to dip humus, as well. Red and yellow peppers are good crunchy snacks and not bad for dipping, too. You can do it!!!

When I was in my first 14 days, I snacked on pumpkin seeds. It took so much work to get that little piece of nut meat! I would also take bites of leftovers through the day, a bite of fish, or leftover squash. I was felt like I was sneaking a bite of squash like it was candy. LOL You'll do great! Go get 'em!
