With Week 2 of Jillian Michaels' Ripped in 30 completed, I'm down a total of 3.2 pounds! I have two weeks to go, so I'm hoping to double that. My muscles are definitely getting stronger, and I've graduated from using 3-pound weights to 5-pound weights in the strength section of the workouts.
Looking ahead, I'm going to finish Ripped in 30 at the end of January, and then move on to training for my half marathon in May! What a year 2012 is shaping up to be! I'm planning to use Hal Higdon's training program, as it was recommended by a friend who regularly runs various races. Exciting!
